Heather Yvette DeWitt, age 34, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of North Riverside with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Bill Coates will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. DeWitt was born on September 26, 1975 in Anniston, Alabama to the late George Spradlin and Barbara Prater. Heather was previously employed at several different churches as a Pre-School Teacher and was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville.
Mrs. DeWitt is survived by her husband, Shannon DeWitt of Lawrenceville; her son, Jacob DeWitt of Lawrenceville; her daughter, Kaitlyn DeWitt of Lawrenceville; her sisters, Hollye Cullars of Alabama and Deanna Purdy of South Carolina; and her grandmothers, Ruth Spradlin and Doris Cook, both of Alabama.
